Description

Session Description:  COVID-19 has been an inarguable disruptor to nearly every facet of the healthcare delivery—from the acceleration of telehealth adoption to transformation in reimbursement models to the decentralization of care away from hospitals and into new spaces like retail health and hospital at home (HAH) programs. In this session, we’ll look at the top seven (7) trends that are driving innovation and technology adoption in the post-pandemic healthcare system and how they will likely impact continuity of care, care coordination, and the longitudinal health record for patients moving forward. Telehealth, remote patient monitoring, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and big data analytics are top of mind for all stakeholders in healthcare today, so we’ll take a close look at those drivers and what you need to know.

Attendees will:

1.    Understand the “Big Four” drivers of innovation in healthcare (cost/quality/access/experience).
2.    Recognize the impact of COVID-19 on care trends and technology innovation shifts.
3.    Identify the seven (7) healthcare technology trends identified as biggest drivers for 2021.
4.    Understand the impact of those trends on care coordination, continuity of care, and the evolution of care documentation.
