Session Description: During this workshop, we will explore how to practice mindfulness with nature and to cultivate more ease, well-being, and health in life. Mindfulness is to be clear and kindly aware and present with what is arising in our life. Research has shown mindfulness to be effective in supporting stress reduction, changing the health of our brain chemistry, and bringing happiness in overall life. Spending time with nature has also been shown to have many well-being benefits like improving our mood, concentration, and overall sense of satisfaction in life. Nature allures us into being present and aware of life in each moment.
