Session Description: In this webinar, business owner Julia Dyviniak will discuss the ins and outs of managing your own business. Topics covered will include creating a business plan; handling contractors, forms, and training; bookkeeping; communication; marketing; and organization that have helped keep her business going without breaking the bank. She will discuss tips and techniques for things such as managing deadlines, projects, and people.

About the Speaker

Julia has owned and operated her own business since 1992 and has been a medical transcriptionist for 29 years, with experience in nearly every specialty as well as acute care. She has experience with traditional transcription, speech recognition, working within EHRs, and creating record reviews for MedLegal purposes. She manages and trains contracted staff members for her business in performing both traditional medical transcription and medical historian work. She is currently serving AHDI as Chair of the Webinar Education Task Force and Co-Chair of the AHDI Welcoming Committee. Julia has authored articles and presented several webinars for continuing education for AHDI.
