Session Description: We will discuss the most common errors that can happen in an EHR system. We will go over the implementation of EHR in most clinic and acute care settings. We will talk about confidentiality within the EHR as well as protection of data. We will finish with strategies to ensure the safety and accuracy of EHR data.

Bio: Becky’s current role is as Healthcare Documentation Program Manager at Penn Foster Group. She has been with Penn Foster Group for over 4 years. She has worked in healthcare documentation for over 25 years. Becky has created numerous courses to train students in EHR system navigation utilizing Penn Foster Group’s proprietary software EHR Go. Becky also serves on the Board of Directors at AHDI.
