Session Description

Learn how to use Excel to develop and maintain a database and extract the database information into another Excel form. You will learn how to manipulate cells, fill, create formulas, and apply functions (such as IF, SUM, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP, and PIVOT TABLES) within sheets and workbooks.

About the Speaker

Julia has owned and operated her own business since 1992 and has been a medical transcriptionist for 28 years, with experience in nearly every specialty as well as acute care. She has experience with traditional transcription, speech recognition, working within EHRs, and creating record reviews for MedLegal purposes. She manages and trains contracted staff members for her business in performing both traditional medical transcription and medical historian work. She is currently serving AHDI as Chair of the Webinar Education Task Force and Co-Chair of the AHDI Welcoming Committee. Julia has authored articles and presented several webinars for continuing education for AHDI.
