Presenter: Kristine Jacobson

Bio: Kristine Jacobson is an apitherapist and beekeeper, administering Bee Venom Therapy (BVT) since 2005. She is a member of the American Apitherapy Society and serves on the Board of Directors. She is frequently a featured speaker on apitherapy at local and national organizations and has also been featured on The Travel Channel demonstrating BVT. Kristine is married, has two adult daughters and two grandchildren, and she resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Session Description: Apitherapy is an alternative form of health care that uses beehive products (honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly and bee venom) to treat many illnesses and to alleviate acute and chronic pain (e.g., injuries, arthritis, migraines, multiple sclerosis). Our presenter will explain why this ancient therapy is still viable today and how to obtain better health through this holistic approach. She will help provide an understanding of the nutritional and healing values of beehive products to maintain good health as well as control pain without harmful side effects.
