Session Description: A new and imperative skill recently entered the workforce. It is daring people to be efficient while working from home. Traditional work settings faced reconstruction, and many people found themselves working from home with the onset of COVID-19. While working from home may not be new for everyone, this is an opportunity to sharpen your skillset. Remember, there is always room for improvement, and that isn’t a bad thing!

In this session, attendees will learn how to manage their time and organizational skills and learn techniques to achieve ultimate efficiency, like minimizing distractions from loved ones. Discover how to schedule tasks according to their priority level and how to determine which tasks can be pushed to another day. The session will conclude with a discussion on how to bring these skills together, which will allow you to become more efficient while working from home.

Bio: To further her education and career goals, Megan moved from Ottawa to Toronto, Ontario. She first earned a degree in Fashion Business and Marketing, followed by two diplomas in Journalism. While in Journalism school, Megan spoke to first-year students about time management and organization to achieve the highest possible grades. Having experience in the area made her Feature Writing instructor confident in her ability to deliver the message.

Megan made a name for herself in the fashion industry, but after 13 seasons and endless fashion weeks, she decided to retire to the country in Whitewater Region, Ontario. There, she became a registered hatha yoga teacher and opened a non-profit yoga and meditation studio. Less than a year later, she became editor of the local newspaper. After moving to British Columbia with her husband, Megan took up her current post as the Virtual Assistant Instructor at CanScribe Career College.
