Session Description: A representative from Jacksonville Speech & Hearing will be talking about our hearing, how it works, what causes changes, assessments, diagnostic outcomes, treatment options, and more. Bring your questions for the opportunity to ask anything at the end of the session that hasn’t been covered! This session will cover: 1. How the organ of hearing functions. 2. What the different causes and types of hearing loss are. 3. What tinnitus is. 4. What treatment options are available for various conditions. 5. Links between hearing loss and other health issues. 6. Communication strategies and treatment expectations.

Bio: Chandra has been the Chief Operating Officer for Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center since 2019. Prior to joining Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center, she was the Director of Operations for a successful audiology private practice for 8 years. Her professional experience before working in the communication health industry includes communications and creative marketing for large life insurance firms, office management, project management and quality control for a web-based company, and customer service management for large retail stores.
