Welcome: President Tina Hincka, RHDS, AHDI-F
Keynote: Making Change Work for You
Presenter: Jason Feifer
Session Description:
Jason Feifer spends his days speaking to the world’s greatest change-makers. Through it all, he has learned that adaptation is not something people are born with. It is a skill people can learn, and he uses that knowledge to help individuals and entire companies grow into the future.
Jason argues that change happens in four phases. It starts with panic when we have no idea what we’ll gain or lose. Then we move into adaptation, begin to build a new normal, and finally start to realize our “wouldn’t go back” moment. Jason’s strategies can help people move through those phases faster, and he gives audiences tangible ways to approach them—along with entertaining, memorable, and often funny stories of entrepreneurs who navigated similar problems, as well as surprising lessons drawn from the history of innovation.

Tina Hincka, RHDS, AHDI-F, recently celebrated 30 years at Corewell Health (previously Spectrum Health). Her career began when she attended Ross Education in Livonia, MI, and completed a cardiology transcription internship. After moving back to Lansing, where she grew up, she took a part-time position as a transcriptionist in the pathology department at a local hospital. She now lives in the Grand Rapids area and has been married for 36 years, has two children, Ryan and Sarah, and three little granddaughters who brighten her days and keep her busy at the same time.
She learned about AHDI several years after working in the HIM department at Corewell Health. She volunteered with the West Michigan Chapter and held positions to include media specialist, secretary, and two terms as president.
She has served as an AHDI board member for almost three years, participating in several committees, attending many conferences, and currently serving as president. Tina recognizes the many changes since she first began her career but has had fun every step of the way and has learned so much. Her ambitions include earning the new CHDP-A credential in the future.
