Stacy Lehto, CHDS, CRCR, AHDI-F has been in the medical transcription field for 27 years. She has worked as a transcriptionist, a QA Specialist, and a QA auditor. Stacy is currently a Senior Healthcare Documentation Quality Analyst at Corewell Health. She was selected to participate as part of their Revenue Cycle Process improvement initiative there and earned her CRCR (Certified-Revenue Cycle Representative) through HFMA. Stacy has served on AHDI’s Board of Directors from 2019 through 2023 and was President from 2021-2022.  She was re-elected to the Board in 2023 and will once again serve as AHDI President from 2024-2025.  Over the years, Stacy has served on many committees and task forces:  the Program Committee, the Virtual Conference Strategy Task Force, and the Nominating Committee to name a few.  She served as Chair of the Product Development Committee just this past year. Stacy contributed to AHDI’s e-book on Strategic and Business Planning Skills and was instrumental in the development of the Clinician Created Documentation: Reinstating Quality Assurance Programs to Safeguard Patients and Providers toolkit.  Stacy worked as copy editor for several of Stedman’s word books, including their Medical Transcription Skill Builder series, many years ago.
