Alexis Mele, M.A., NCC, PPS
South Hills High School
Alexis Mele is a school counselor at South Hills High School in West Covina, California. She has been a school counselor for 8 years, starting off her career as a mobile therapist and elementary school counselor in Central Bucks School District in Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Rider University. She is a certified and credentialed school counselor in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California. At South Hills, Alexis has worked to create a wellness center on South Hill’s campus and a peer counseling program to support the mental health/wellness needs of students. She is also a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor and a registered yoga teacher and SEL facilitator.
