Bonnie Monico, CHDS, AHDI-F
Bonnie J. Monico, CHDS, AHDI-F, lives in Omaha, Nebraska, and is the AHDI President-elect for 2020. She has been in the medical transcriptionist industry for more than 40 years was instrumental in the recruiting, mentoring, and MT Development processes of many MTs/HDSs and involved in the development and maintenance of quality improvement programs. Bonnie also has a coding certificate from the College of St. Mary.
Crafting is Bonnie's passion and she loves creating items that you cannot buy in a store. She creates personalized gifts to give away and sell in a space she affectionately calls her Craft Cave. Bonnie loves to paint, decoupage plates, and make gnomes (she has ones for every season!). She also loves a great bargain and repurposing things found around the home, like flowerpots, wine bottles, and old socks.
