Cathy Kemper-Pelle, EdD
Rogue Community College
Dr. Cathy Kemper-Pelle is the president of Rogue Community College, where she has served since 2016. She began her post-secondary education at a community college and was able to complete multiple college degrees and rise through the leadership ranks despite many personal roadblocks along the way. As a result of her journey and need to build her own resilience, she is committed to ensuring RCC offers clear pathways to careers and academic transfer programs, extensive support services to help students overcome barriers, and a growth mindset framework to help students understand their own potential and achieve their dreams.
In addition to serving as a college president, Dr. Kemper-Pelle is an entrepreneur and a Professor of Practice in the John E. Roueche Community College Leadership Program at Kansas State University. She and her husband Rob have 5 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 new puppies.
