Sasha Heflin has worked in education since 2012, first as a district mental health services coordinator, responsible for the development and implementation of mental health services throughout the district, and now as a school counselor at South Hills High School. He received his B.S. in Psychology at the University of La Verne, M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a school counseling certification from the Phillips Graduate Institute. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field as a personal therapist, life coach and counselor, Sasha has implemented many programs, parent trainings, and prevention programs for our community. His passion has always been to help others achieve personal and relational wellness through healing their past traumas and helping individuals realize personal goals related to resiliency, growth, and interpersonal relations.
